Deanah Moore (President) works for Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center (Level I Adult, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center) in Toledo Ohio. She has been there 10 years as a Trauma Registrar Coding Specialist. She also is the Regional Data Manager for Northeastern Ohio Regional Trauma Network (NORTN). Deanah has an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science Majoring in Health Information Management from Owens Community College, and holds certifications of Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry (CSTR). Deanah has been a member of AOTR since 2009 and served as secretary for two terms. She is a member of the Education Committee as an instructor for the Ohio Trauma Registry Course.
Sarah Beard (Vice President) I have been a trauma registrar for the last 11 years at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH, a Level 3 trauma center. I became a CSTR in 2018. My background is in medical transcription. I’m single and have three (brilliant) children, Alexa, a registered dietitian; Madeline, an ICU nurse; and Jack, a senior in college studying engineering and welding. Zeke, my cat, keeps me on my toes to avoid scratches on my legs (not working). I also enjoy reading, working out, watching reality TV shows, documentaries, and doing laundry (seriously).
Stacey Seibel (Treasurer) has worked for Grant Medical Center (Level 1 Trauma Center) in Columbus, Ohio for three years as a Trauma Registrar Specialist/ Data Analyst. She worked as an intern for a year at Licking Memorial Hospital in the HIM department. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management and an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design.
Stacey has been a member of AOTR since 2014 and has served on the auditing committee.
Sharlene Amend (Secretary) has an extensive background in the publishing field. She has worked for a typesetting, printing, and distribution company for over twelve years. She has taken college courses and vocational training in data processing, computers, accounting and medical transcription. After a decision to enter the medical field, she attended school and became a Certified Medical Assistant. Sharlene has worked in General Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Orthopedic offices. She came to OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital to work in the trauma field as a Trauma Data Specialist in August 2016. She has enjoyed her time in Trauma Services and looks forward to continuing to learn and grown in the field. On a personal level, Sharlene has a great love of the environment and wildlife. She lives by the motto : Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Kelly Harrison (Past President) Kelly has 14 years of trauma system experience and two registry certifications: CSTR (Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry) and CAISS (Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist), in addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Wilmington College.
Robert O’Brian (Past President) is the Trauma Data Analyst for OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. He has worked there since 2006. Bob is a former firefighter/medic and pastors a church as well. Bob has a Bachelor’s of Administration degree and a Masters of Religious counseling.
