Lita Holdeman, BS, CSTR – President
My name is Lita Holdeman, and I have worked in Trauma Registry for 13 years. I am a Certified Specialist in Trauma Registry (CSTR) since 2013. I began my career in Trauma Registry at Premier’s Health Miami Valley Hospital Level 1 as a Trauma Data Analyst. I currently work as a Trauma Information Coordinator for UC Health, including the University of Cincinnati Medical Center Level 1 Trauma Center and West Chester Hospital Level 3 Trauma Center. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and have worked in the medical field in different capacities for 25 plus years. I have held the President of Southwest Ohio Regional System (SORTS) for Trauma Registry, Education Chair for AOTR, and instructor and co-developer for the Ohio Trauma Registry Course.
I have been married 30 years to a man I met on a blind date. I have 2 kids, one son who served in the Army, a daughter who has Epilepsy, and a daughter-in-law who is a vet tech and loves animals. I enjoy reading, watching truce crime, and studying my Bible in my spare time.
Deb Sheets – Vice President
I was the sole registrar at Atrium Medical Center – Level III Trauma Center. I was at Atrium for 15 years and was the registrar going on 8 years. I started out in housekeeping, cleaning rooms in the OR. I went to Transcription/Medical Records, Laboratory and Family Birth before finding my home in the trauma world. We had a small but mighty team of 4 consisting of TPM, Outreach Coordinator and Trauma Quality Management Coordinator. With my recent move, you can find me at Summa Health Akron, Level I. I am one of 4 registrars at Summa. I chaired the education committee for Tri State Trauma Coalition and am an intern for education AOTR.
I reside in Middletown, OH. I am a mother of 2 – Ryan and Rachel. Grandma to 1 – Gracie.
Alison Ziemak, RHIT, CSTR – Treasurer
Hi I am and I am the AOTR Treasurer, before this I was lead for the AOTR Nomination committee for 2 years. I have been working in trauma for 7 years with UH Cleveland Medical Center’s level one trauma center. I have had my RHIT since 2013 and recently in 2020 received my CSTR. When I am not working I like to take hiking trips to the Rocky Mountain National Park. When not traveling I like to spend time with my dogs.
Wendi Dean, BA – Secretary
I work for University Hospitals Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, OH (Level 3). I have been a trauma registrar for 6 years but have worked for the hospital for 30 years. I have been a member of AOTR since 2016. I have a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University majoring in Family and Consumer Studies.
I have 3 adult children and one beautiful granddaughter. In our spare time we love to travel…the beach will always be my favorite destination.
Deanah Moore, RHIT, CSTR, CAISS -AOTR Education Committee Chair
Deanah Moore has worked for Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center (Level I Adult, Level II Pediatric Trauma Center) in Toledo Ohio for 15 years as a Trauma Registrar Data System Specialist. She has also been the Regional Data Manager for Northeastern Ohio Regional Trauma Network (NORTN) for 7 years.
Deanah has been a member of AOTR since 2009 and served as Secretary, Vice President, and President. She currently serves as the AOTR Education Committee Chair. Lastly, she is the Chair for the Trauma Registry Advisory Workgroup (TRAW) and sits on the Ohio Trauma Committee.
Kelly Harrison, BA, CSTR, CAISS – Past President
Kelly has 18 years trauma system experience working with Level 1, 2 and 3 trauma centers as well as non-trauma facilities and regional systems. She currently works for Mount Carmel Health System East Hospital, a level 2 center.
As a past president of the Alliance of Ohio Trauma Registrars she is a current board member. Kelly is also a member of the education committee and assisted in the development of the Ohio Trauma Registry Course. She also co-authored a manuscript, “A Wider Perspective on Data Validation: A Multiregional Collaboration” in the Journal of Trauma Nursing. Additionally, she participated in the AOTR’s abstract to submission to TQIP; “Setting a Course for Ohio Trauma Registrars”.
